Prof. Wolfgang Sasse
Kiel, Germany                 Professor for Strategic Communication at the Muthesius Univerity

Wolfgang Sasse studied Social and Business Communications at the University of Arts in Berlin, with an emphasis on communicational planning and verbal composition. Upon completion of his studies Wolfgang worked at Hamburg-based agency Springer & Jacoby. He co-founded KNSK, Hamburg and became executive partner in charge of the creative department.

 

Since 2010 Wolfgang has been Professor for Strategic Communication and Verbal Composition. Moreover he oversees the “Projektbüro” in the Department for Communicational Design of the Muthesius Art College, which he founded in cooperation with Professor Silke Juchter in the winter semester of 2010. The Projektbüro allows graduate students majoring in Conception & Design to work on real assignments concerning Art, Culture, Society and Business, hence finding and developing their personal role as designers.

 

Wolfgang Sasse’s works have ben decorated numerous times. He has won several awards  from the Art Directors Club Germany and the Art Directors Club Europe, from the Type Directors Club, the D & AD, The One Show N.Y. and the Effie, as well as in Cannes. He was named most-decorated copywriter in Germany twice. For more than 20 years he has been an elected member of the Art Directors Club Germany.
